Lahore, June 14, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 120600 cusecs and Outflows 179800 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 51100 cusecs and Outflows 51100 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 48500 cusecs and Outflows 30000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 38800 cusecs and Outflows 10000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 228400 cusecs and Outflows 220600 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 243200 cusecs and Outflows 214000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows194800 cusecs and Outflows 166800 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows17300 cusecs and Outflows 2100 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 150500 cusecs and Outflows 115000 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 103400 cusecs and Outflows 50800 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 36100 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1453.05 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.534 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1182.05 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.404 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 647.70 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.228 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
