Srinagar, March 27, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R, (JKLF-R) Farooq Ahmad Dar has said that the sacrifices of the people of Kashmir for securing right to self-determination will not be allowed to go waste. Farooq Ahmad Dar in a meeting held under his chairmanship in Srinagar paid homage to martyrs including Jaleel Andrabi, Ashfaq Majeed Wani, Shabbir Ahmad Siddiqui and Dr Abdul Ahmad Guru and added that their sacrifices would bring positive results.
He also strongly denounced the continued house arrest of APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani and detention of Hurriyet leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Mushtaq-ul-Islam and Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai and demanded their immediate release.
Meanwhile, liberation leader, Javed Ahmad Mir in a statement issued in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to Jaleel Andrabi and said that the mission of Kashmiri martyrs would be accomplished at all costs.
The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt and the Chairman of Democratic Political Movement (DPM) in their separate statements issued in Srinagar remembered the sacrifices of Jaleel Andrabi and other Kashmiri martyrs and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their struggle till complete success.
