Islamabad: The Federal Minister for Human Resource Management (HRD) Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain said that people of flood affected areas are in critical situation however Pakistani community is showing their great national spirit to help them in this difficult time which is admirable. He also said that people of Pakistan always expressed their gracious role in every situation.
Government of Pakistan is committed to provide all possible relief goods to the people of flood affected areas. He expressed these views while handing over a consignment of relief goods for the flood victims to the officials of District Administration Badeen. The relief goods were sent on the directives of PML (Q) President Chaudhry Shujhat Hussain.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain expressed sympathies with the families who had been badly affected due to torrential rains and devastating floods. Handing over relief goods for the flood-stricken people of Badeen and adjoining areas he assured that government would never leave the calamity hit people un-attended during present difficult situation.
The consignment of fifteen thousand bags containing rice, ghee, vegetable oil, sugar, tea and biscuits was given for the people who had been displaced due to floods in low laying areas of the province.
On behalf of Ministry of HRD, Joint Secretary Iftikhar Raheem supervised the handing over task of relief goods while the local representative of PML (Q) Papu Shah present on the occasion said that workers of PML (Q) are trying their best to help the displaced persons and relief camps had been set up at focal points as well in far flung areas to extend immediate relief and rescue to the victims.
