Peshawar: Director General Special Development Unit (SDU) and Planning and Development Department Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and National Project director (NPD) RAHA Programme Roohullah Khan signed agreements with Chief Executives of three consultancy firms for the award of participatory need assessment for identification and prioritization of major physical infrastructure in the target 61 union councils in four districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the SDU Office Peshawar on Monday. These firms have been selected after evaluation of their technical and financial proposals based on competitive bidding. The firms will submit their reports in two months.
RAHA Programme aims at rehabilitating the lives of people in refugee affected and hosting areas and improving their current standard of living while promoting a more peaceful co-existence with Afghans.
As a leading donor, European Union has pledged funds for various initiatives under the RAHA programme.
