Rasheed expresses anger over Kashmiri teen’s murder in India

Srinagar, January 08, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the member of so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed, has expressed anguish over the murder of a 12-year-old Kashmiri boy, Irshad Ahmad Lone, in the Indian state of Punjab. Engineer Abdur Rasheed in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Irshad Ahmad Lone, son of Javed Ahmad Lone of Waisa area of Handwara, was stabbed to death by miscreants at Phagwaria in Punjab. He said that criminal elements had been given a free hand in India to attack Kashmiris.

He said, a Kashmiri Javed Ahmed Lone, who is a businessman and exports Kashmiri shawls every year to various States, had taken his son, Irshad, with him, but when he left for his daily routine job and left his son at his residence, he on return in the afternoon found him dead in his room. “Innocent boy was stabbed several times and the murderers had also stolen shawls and other goods worth lakhs of rupees,” he said. Engineer Rasheed asked the puppet administration to take up the matter with the police in Punjab so that culprits are arrested.
