Islamabad, May 21, 2014 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf here on Wednesday said only quality education can bring socio-economic change in the society and can put the country on the path of development.
Addressing a ceremony regarding inauguration of Website of Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-7/4, the federal minister said the move will play a role of bridge between teachers and parents as it will keep all the activities of the college updated. A large number of students, faculty members of the college, members of Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and official of Federal Education Directorate attended the event.
The Minister said government has put the country on the path of development by launching 3G and 4G through a transparent process, which will enhance the pace of communication in the country. The Minister suggested that PTAs of all the educational institutions should form one association to cater to the needs of the education sector and settle their issues.
The Minister said a huge void and social dichotomy in the younger generation is being created due to lack of unified education system and urged for measures to eliminate dual education system throughout the country.
