Karachi, December 05, 2012 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah today presided a meeting regarding issues pertaining to removal of any government employees from Services, (Special Powers) ordinance, 2000 (Repeal) Act, 2010, held at Chief Minister House.
The meeting was attended among others by Senior Minister Education Pir Mazharul Haq, Sindh Law Minister Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Enam Memon, Chief Secretary Sindh Raja Muhammad Abbas, Advocate General Sindh Abdul Fatah Malik, Secretary Services Iqbal Durrani, Secretary Law Syed Ghulam Nabi Shah, Principal Secretary to CM Muhammad Siddique Memon, Secretary I and C and others.
Chief Minister Sindh in his introductory remarks said that any government which comes into power, brings mandate of the people. He said that we are fully trying to fulfil the commitments with deprived people of the country.
Chief Minister Sindh directed to suggest procedures in alternate law after necessary amendments, and stressed that after / detailed discussion, necessary Act of 2010 be repealed. It was decided that the proposed enactment be finalized as early as possible.
