Lahore: Punjab University Spokesman has termed an advertisement published in daily Nawa-i-Waqt by Old Hailians Association, stating that the PU’s Board of Studies (Commerce) has abolished the private examination of BCom, as baseless, unfactual and an attempt to misguide the students.
The spokesman further said the Academic Council and Syndicate took the decision of BCom private examination and the Board of Studies was not authorized to change or abolish the decision. Moreover, registration of private candidates for BCom Part-I annual exam 2012 is starting from October 17, 2011 for which the advertisement has already been appeared on Sunday, October 9, 2011 in national dailies.
