Gilgit Baltistan Governor Syed Mehdi Shah met Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman in Lahore on Monday.

In the meeting, the current situation of the country and issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Speaking on this occasion, the Punjab Governor said that efforts will be made to increase quota for Gilgit Baltistan’s students in Punjab universities.

He said that giving relief to the people and bringing economic stability in country is the top priority of government.

He appreciated honesty of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and very low crime rate in the province.

On his part, the Governor Baltistan said that political and economic stability is very important to bring foreign investment and tourism in Pakistan.
