Punjab budget for the next fiscal year 2021-22is being presented in the provincial assembly in Lahore today (Monday).

Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht will present the budget.

According to a spokesman of Punjab Finance Department, a special package for industries and a number of public welfare projects will be announced in the budget.

He said provision of health Sahulat Cards will be ensured to 100 percent population of the province by December this year.

Meanwhile, a special meeting of the Punjab Cabinet will be held today under the chair of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar in Lahore.

The meeting will approve the budget proposals for the financial year 2021-22.

Later, the budget will be presented in provincial assembly in Lahore.
