Pulwama firing: Inquiry team granted one more month

Srinagar, January 19, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have granted one month time to the inquiry team probing the firing by the Indian troops on civilians in Pulwama, last month, to submit the report. Fifteen persons were injured in the incident. The inquiry team after failing to complete the probe within the stipulated time of 15 days sought more time for concluding the probe.

The inquiry team was to submit the report to the authorities on January 13, but failed to submit report on the given date. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Pulwama, Tariq Ahmad Mir, who is heading the inquiry team, confirmed the media that the team has been granted one-month time to complete the investigation.
