ITU has designed a one-stop software to conduct the entire draft process including players picks, announcements, retentions, time window, etc. All six teams have their unique login through which they can not only pick players but also search players and stats.
Talha Rehmani, Project Lead and Director IML, ITU said: “PSL holds a unique place in every Pakistani hearts and it’s a privilege to partner with PSL and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) again to conduct this draft through ITU’s state-of-the-art software. To bring the best digital experience to people key changes to software design and architecture have been made.
This was not possible with the critical feedback and help of PSL team.” Earlier this year, ITU signed a five year MoU with PCB to digitize the cricket experience and bring the best cricket Insights to PCB, from both domestic and international cricket. Project Mentor cricket Legends Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mushtaq Ahmed played a key role in the development of “Insights”. This software was piloted in PSL 3 and all matches were covered by it.
