Islamabad, February 19, 2014 (PPI-OT): Federal Finance Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Chairperson Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Madam Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme here at Prime Minister’s House. The meeting was attended by a young women parliamentarian along with Federal Secretary Finance and heads of other departments concerned.

During the meeting, the authorities concerned screened detailed presentation on five schemes of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, which include Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme for talented youth, Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme for the needy students, Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Scheme, Prime Minister’s Qarz-e-Hasna Scheme, and Prime Minister’s Youth Internship scheme.

On this occasion, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Madam Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the relevant departments to improve upon execution mechanism of all these schemes besides taking all necessary measures to ensure their effectiveness and transparency.

They also stressed upon the need to further improve their eligibility criteria in such a way that only best deserving people could benefit from these schemes across the length and breadth of Pakistan, as per directions of Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
