Prime Minister meets Parliamentarians

Islamabad, November 21, 2012 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has urged the Parliamentarians to increase their contact with the masses and educate them about the achievement of the government.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf made this observation while talking to parliamentarians Abdul Ghani Talpur, Ms. Raheela Baloch, Ms. Shagufta Jumani, Ms. Natasha Daultana, Ms. Palwasha Khan, Tariq Bajwa, Mrs Shamshad Sattar Bachani and Senator Islamuddin Shaikh who called on him separately at the PM’s House this afternoon.

The Prime Minister said that the successful completion of the tenure of the present elected government speaks volumes of the policies of the reconciliation pursued by the government.

Reiterating the firm resolve of the government to continue its efforts to strengthen democratic system in the country, the Prime Minister said that it was up to the people of Pakistan to elect their representatives.

The Prime Minister urged the need for collective efforts by all political forces of the country to work for the welfare of the people.

The Parliamentarians apprised the Prime Minister about the status of the development projects in their respective areas; they also informed him about various issues relating to their constituencies.
