President says that eradication of terrorism from country is first priority of the government

Islamabad, December 30, 2015 (PPI-OT): President Mamnoon Hussain has said that eradication of terrorism from the country is the first priority of the government and no stone would be left unturned for its elimination adding that through Operation Zarb-e-Azb terrorism would be eradicated from the country. The President was addressing the 3rd Convocation of Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU) at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad on Wednesday.

The President said that Pakistan is endowed with rich natural resources and we can make it the greatest country in the world by eradicating corruption from our homeland. The President stated that Pakistan is now coming out of its difficulties and the youth should be imbued with hope so that they could not only materialize the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal but also their own dreams.

Addressing the young doctors on the occasion, the President stated that medicine is a sacred profession and they should make it not only a source of their income but serve the humanity with passion. “You must also go abroad for attaining further education in your respective field but don’t lose sight of your identity and you must return after acquiring higher education to serve your motherland”, remarked the President.

The President said that we can make Pakistan the greatest country in the world through hard work adding that youth by discouraging corruption and corrupt elements and through hard work can materialize the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. Commending the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal for his hard work and dedication, the President advised the youth to study his Vision 2025 and to make efforts for its success. He further said that the projects for energy generation and national progress initiated by the government would be the harbinger of a bright future of the country.

Citing the example of China, the President stated that China is now the second biggest economy of the world and it earned this status through sheer hard work and advised the youth to work hard as they are the hope of the nation as they can only realize their dreams and of founding fathers of Pakistan through hard work only.
