Karachi, May 20, 2016 (PPI-OT): Abdul Rauf Alam, President FPCCI has taken serious note of delay in construction of FPCCI’s Capital Office building.
He directed to complete the building within one month after which contractors have started day and night work to complete the building within the deadline.
The FPCCI Capital office was started in 2008 with an estimated cost of Rs400 million. The project was scheduled to be completed in three years but it was delayed due to host of reasons that included issue relating to payments to contractors.
The President FPCCI called all the contractors and assured them of timely payments and that in case of any delay he will pay from his own pocked so that plan to complete the building within one month is not compromised.
Meanwhile Abdul Rauf Alam, Vice President Saarc Chamber, VP FPCCI Johar Ali Raki, Chairman Coordination FPCCI Malik Sohail visited the under-construction building, they pointed out some flaws and directed corrective measures.
