President directs Ministry of Religious Affairs to make best possible arrangements for Hajis during upcoming Hajj season

Islamabad, June 21, 2016 (PPI-OT):President Mamnoon Hussain has directed the Ministry of Religious Affairs to make the best possible arrangements for the Hajis during the upcoming Hajj season and ensure that Hajis face no difficulty in performing this year’s Hajj. The President said this while talking to Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Tuesday.

The President asked the Minister to ensure provision of proper boarding, transport and medical facilities for the pilgrims during their stay in Saudi Arabia for performing the Hajj. The President added that it should also be ensured that PIA operates Hajj flights on schedule during the Hajj season so that pilgrims face no difficulty while travelling to and from Saudi Arabia. The President said that the Religious Ministry should properly guide and educate the Hajis about the Hajj rituals before their departure to Saudi Arabia so that they don’t face any difficulty there.

President Mamnoon asked the Minister to continue playing his role for promoting virtues of tolerance, patience, perseverance and inter-faith harmony across the country so that there is unity in our ranks and we are in unison to attain collective national development. On the occasion, Minister for Religious Affairs briefed the President about arrangements being made for the upcoming Hajj season and stated that all efforts would be made to facilitate the Hajis during their performance of this sacred ritual in Saudi Arabia.
