Karachi, November 28, 2012 (PPI-OT): Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Media Sharmila Faruqui has said that the present century of Information Technology and day by day the number of users of technology is increasing. Those who lag behind in the use of technology will not be able to make progress in any field.
This she said while addressing as a chief guest in inauguration ceremony of Pakistan Electronic and Electric Fair here at Expo Centre Karachi. She said that such type of fairs would not only produce opportunities of employment but they also created awareness regarding the use of electronic and electric goods. She said ‘Such exhibitions will also provide chances of progress.
There will be trade contracts and relations in the field of trade will improve in local and international market.’ Sharmila Faruqui added that the present democratic government believed in promotion of trade at international level. Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and it is also the financial hub of the country. Maintaining law and order is the first priority of the government.
She said that there were countless opportunities of the progress in the field of trade and it was a need of the hour that efforts will be made in right direction. ‘It is a matter of pleasure that trade and industrial exhibitions are held at Expo Centre Karachi which gives good impression for the city, she concluded.
