Karachi, May 17, 2012 (PPI-OT): On the special directive of PPP Co-Chairperson and President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah had established a Public Complaint Cell (PCC) at C.M House for early resolution of public problems and grievances,.
Where as Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh and PCC Incharge Mr. Imtiaz Mallah and other officers received complaints from the public through telephone and conveyed complaints to the concerned officers for their early resolution. The PCC cell was established at CM House just after present democratic government came into power.
Incharge of the Public Complaint Cell while issuing the quarterly report of the complaints received at (PCC) informed that in all,3602 complaints were received up to 30th April 2012, out of which 3055 complaints were resolved while 547 complaints are still under process/pending.
He further informed that during this period the staff working at (PCC) telephone no: 919 received 2981 complaints. All such complaints were solved by processing them to concerned departments. Besides 621 complaints were forwarded to concerned departments of which 74 complaints have been solved.
Special Assistant to CM Mr. Imtiaz Mallah has advised the general public to register/convey their problems and grievances at Complaint Cell on telephone numbers 919, 99208081, 0800-91915, which are functioning round the clock.
He has assured the affected people that prompt action has been taken for solution of their problems. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed Mallah told that most of the complaints received at cell related to police, gas, electricity, Irrigation, Health, Education, Transport and Karachi Water and Sewerage Board.
