Karachi, May 11, 2016 (PPI-OT):The slain Pakistan People’s party (PPP) chairperson Benazir Bhutto had suffered much in the previous government of Nawaz Sharif because the then Sharif government had booked her in fake cases and was compelled to appear in different courts in different cities with an aim to punish her for the crime she never committed. It was the worst form of political victimization. It is the irony that when he (Nawaz Sharif) has his government in Pakistan, he starts victimization of PPP leaders.
The supremacy of law suddenly disappears and law of the jungle prevails during his government. Sindh Chief Minister’s advisor on information and archives Moula Bux Chandio expressed these views while responding to inciting language by the Federal Minister for information Senator Pervez Rasheed against the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Chandio said that the language that the minister s in the Sharif’s cabinet especially the federal minister for information Senator Pervez Rasheed has used against the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is highly absurd. The conversation between the judges and Nawaz Sharif is intact and is on record in which he had directed the judges to keep dragging the fake cases against the PPP leaders Benazir Bhutto and former President Asif Ali Zardari.
That record of conversation could not be removed and the masses could not be constrained to forget it. He said that Nawaz Sharif considers his political opponents as personal enmity and Zardari’s imprisonment for over a decade is an undeniable proof of this typical mindset of Sharif. Both the previous governments of Nawaz Sharif were full of political victimization of Benazir Bhutto as she was compelled to live in exile while Zardari was jailed.
However, Benazir Bhutto was a brave lady and visionary leader as she could not be intimidated through fake cases against her and driving her from one city to another for appearing in courts for the guilt she never did, he said, adding that even Sharif did not let Zardari to take oath as during his government. Presently, it seems as if the Senator Pervez Rasheed has acquired a severe attack of Bhutto phobia and hence he is being impassionate in making foul statements in great haste.
Moula Bux Chandio advised Senator Rasheed that he should stay focused on the mounting crisis in his party rather than making useless efforts of diverting people’s attention from the Panama Leaks investigations. He further advised him to realize that Bilawal is the son of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari and grandson of Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto and when they speak, people welcome them across the board and even the international community also stays focused on their talks.
