Srinagar, December 06, 2015 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi, has condemned the arrest of dozens of young boys in Nowhatta and Pampore areas of Srinagar. Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Careers of these young boys are being destroyed. These arrests are not only made in Nowhatta but children caught in areas as far as Panthachowk are brought to Nowhatta to book them in the fake cases of stone pelting.”“A van was stopped in Pampore by police and boys in the vehicle were taken into custody.
These boys include Muteeb, the son of DeM General Secretary Nahida Nasreen. These children were taken to Nowhatta Police Station, and then were shifted to Khanyar police station.” Police did not allow these boys to appear in exams on Saturday and police clearly said that they would not be allowed to appear in the exams, she deplored. She said that Muteeb was to appear in practical exams on Saturday but he along with Mutaib, Imran, Adil, Oarvaiz, Uzair and Tabish.
