Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the concerned authorities to run the polio eradication campaign on an emergency basis using all possible means to eliminate this menace from the country once and for all.

He was chairing a high-level meeting in Islamabad on Monday regarding polio-eradication in sensitive districts of the country.

The Prime Minister directed to pay special focus on Southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including North Waziristan, South Waziristan, and Bannu. He also instructed to get the children vaccinated, who could not be vaccinated earlier for any reason.

The Prime Minister advised to provide the best medical facilities to the people so that spread of polio can be stopped strictly.
