Srinagar, May 03, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Ummat-e Islami, Qazi Yasir has said that the PDP-led administration has gone one step ahead of pro-India National Conference in stifling dissenting voices. Qazi Yasir, who was arrested by Indian police in Islamabad town while on the way to Kokernag to address a religious gathering, in a statement said that PDP had given the extremist Hindu organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) an access to Jammu and Kashmir in the name of development.
“The PDP should look back into their election campaign which is an eye-opener for people too. They deceived the people by promising punishment to the killers of innocent people during 2010 mass uprising and demanded a vote against the saffron brigade and later joined hands with them,” he added. Qazi Yasir prayed for early recovery of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference General Secretary, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, and demanded the release of all illegally-detained Hurriyet leaders and activists.
