Islamabad, October 08, 2012 (PPI-OT): Minister of State for Science and Technology , Ms. Raheela Baloch, MNAs, Syed Mumtaz Gilani, Mir Hamadan Bhugti, Ms. Shamshad Sattar Bachani, Abdul Ghani Talpur, Moazam Ali Jatoi, Qayum Jatoi and Senator Syeda Sughra Imam called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf separately at his Parliament House Chamber this evening.
The MNAs informed the Prime Minister about the status of various development schemes in their respective areas. They apprised the Prime Minister that projects such as road construction, electrification, sewage system and gas provision have been received well by the masses since these schemes bring about a visible change and improvement in their living standard.
The MNAs also briefed the Prime Minister about issued relating to their respective constituencies and sought assistance of the government to resolve them. The Prime Minister assured the MNAs that the government would assist them in their endeavours to solve the problems of masses. He urged them to increase their public contacts to know their issues and try to solve them at their doorsteps.
Senator Syed Sughra Imam informed the Prime Minister about the status of the Karachi Mega Projects. She said that work on these projects would be completed according to the schedule and it would go to the credit of this government when these are inaugurated. She said that these projects have largely been appreciated by the people of Karachi.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khursheed Shah and Federal Minister for National Heritage and Integration, Ms. Samina Khalid Ghurki were also present in the meetings.
