Islamabad, January 23, 2013 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf met a group of PPP Parliamentarians comprising Senators, MNAs and MPAs belonging to Balochistan at the PM’s House this evening. During the meeting they discussed the current situation in the province.
The Prime Minister said that PPP and its leadership had rendered great sacrifices for the cause of democracy and was committed to uphold democratic values and traditions.
During the meeting the Parliamentarians drew attention of the Prime Minister to various problems faced by the common man.
The Prime Minister assured the Parliamentarians that Baluchistan was one of his top priorities and all available resources would be provided to the province to improve the living standard of the people.
The Parliamentarians included Sardar Al Haj Muhammad Umar Gorgage, Minister for Postal Services, Mir Changez Khan Jamali, Minister for Science and Technology, Deputy Chairman Senate, Mr. Sabir Ali Baloch, Senators, Yousuf Baloch, Saifullah Magsi, Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hasni, Rozi Khan Kakar, Ms. Surriya Ammer ud Din, Muhammad Yousuf Badini, MNAs, Ayatulah Durrani, Dr. Zile Huma and MPAs, Mr. Tahir Mahmood Khan, Mr. Muhammad Ismail Gujar, Muhammad Younas Mullazai, Haji Ali Maddad Jattak, Asfandyar Khan Kakar, Mir Nisar Khan Jamali, Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, Agha Irfan Karim and Ms. Samina Raziq
Federal Ministers, Mr. Qamar Zaman Kaira, Rana Farooq Saeed Khan, Syed Khursheed Shah, Farooq H Naek and MNA, Ms. Faryal Talpur were also present in the meeting.
