Pakistani envoy to Germany visits Trade Fair “Medica”

Islamabad, November 19, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Ambassador of Pakistan to Germany Mr. Abdul Basit visited the Annual International Trade Fair “Medica” in Dusseldorf, Germany. The Fair, which specializes in medical technology and the new medicinal products, was attended by more than four thousand companies from over 64 countries.

The fair was visited by over 130,000 visitors from 120 countries. 57 Pakistani companies dealing with surgical equipment participated. 18 participating companies were supported by TDAP, says a press release received from Berlin here today.

The Ambassador visited all the Pakistani stalls and exchanged views with Pakistan enterprises on ways and means to further the business ties between the two countries in this sector. Pakistani business community appreciated the Ambassador’s visit and expressed posing satisfaction on the overall arrangements for the fair.

The Ambassador met the President and CEO, Messe Dusseldorf Werner M. Dornscheidt and thanked him for facilitating Pakistani businesses at the fair. The CEO thanked the Ambassador for the visit and assured him of his continued support for the growth of Pakistani businesses.
