Pakistan Telecommunication Company collaborates with Frankline Covey for management training

Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has successfully concluded a comprehensive three days training programme organized by Training and Development department in collaboration with M/S Frankline Covey for its Senior Management titled “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” at PTCL Academy Islamabad.

The 7 Habits workshop helped participants to learn improve performance and results by pulling together at the highest levels of effectiveness and teamwork. Each habit was divided into segments in which the principles of each habit were presented. Principles were discussed under the direction of the facilitator.

Participants applied what they had learnt through case studies, small group discussions or reflective individual application activities.

The participants were awarded certificates for successfully completing the training. PTCL recognizes its human resource as real asset in training and nurturing it HR. PTCL has achieved several appreciable milestones however this Program is one of the most note worthy achievements.

PTCL has a large training infrastructure throughout the country. With a commitment to make the company a ‘Customer Oriented Corporate Organization’ the organization’s human resource development is its primary mandate.

Syed Mazhar Hussain SEVP (HRA) while addressing a small but graceful gathering of the training participants stated, “Our Training and Development department has been actively involved in developing effective training programs and designing result oriented training intervention with a mission to help PTCL employees achieve significant, tangible and lasting improvement in their performance”

He further stated that, “The 7 Habits training workshop was an initiative that recognized talent and further honed their existing skill sets and prepare them for bigger challenges to be taken up in the future”.

Participants of the program shared their views and termed it as an exceptionally beneficial experience.
