Islamabad, November 16, 2012 (PPI-OT): Pakistan PPP Workers Convention was held on 12th November, 2012 in the Governor House, Peshawar under the co-chairmanship of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, and Mr. Anwar Saifullah Khan, MPA/PPP KPK Provincial President. The convention was organized in a befitting manner with the hectic efforts of Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, co-chairman PPP, Mohtarma Faryal Talpur and Provincial KPK President Mr. Anwar Saifullah Khan.
Mrs. Farhat Khan, MNA/Parliamentary Secretary Ministry of National Heritage and Integration along with her husband Syed Mir Mohammad, Ex-Judge/Advocate Supreme Court and Member Federal Council PPP also participated to make the convention successful.
They said that due to the efforts, influence and keen interest of Mr. Anwar Saifullah Khan many of the descendent groups and even those who had joined other political parties have decided to come back to PPP. Eminent political leaders like Mr. Iftikhar Jhagra, Ex-MPA, Mr. Qurban Ali Khan, Ex-MPA who had joined PTI earlier have now joined PPP and Mr. Iftikhar Mohammad, Ex-MPA from Mardan has also joined PPP.
Several other political leaders and workers are in contact with Mr. Anwar Saifullah Khan and his senior colleagues for joining the PPP. They thanked Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, Co-chairman and Mohtarma Faryal Talpur for appointing a right man for the right job at the right time.
They said that Mr. Anwar Saifullah Khan, PPP KPK Provincial President is making his untiring efforts to strengthen the PPP position in KPK. They further added that Mr. Anwar Saifullah Khan with his devotion, dedication and hard work gathered all PPP members/workers at the same platform in Governor House, Peshawar which is his great success.
District and Tehsil Presidents, politicians, senior members, PPP workers and people across the Mardan District participated at large. All the workers and members shown full confidence on his leadership and assured to make PPP more strengthened and lead the other parties in coming elections.
