Pakistan Navy’s humanitarian operation Labiak continues – 2nd Pakistan Navy Ship leaves Al Hodeida for Djibouti, carrying 36 Pakistanis and 15 foreign nationals

Islamabad, April 06, 2015 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Navy Ship SHAMSHEER has sailed from Al Hodeida, Yemen for Djibouti after successful evacuation of 36 Pakistani and 15 Foreign Nationals, including 12 children stranded at Yemen. Foreign Nationals include 04 from Bangladesh, 02 each from Romania and Yemen, 03 from Qatar and 01 each from Ethiopia, Germany, Philippine and UK.

All the evacuees were safely taken onboard Pakistan Navy Ship after necessary immigration formalities. All the requisite arrangements have been made onboard Pakistan Navy Ship to ensure safe journey of evacuated people to Djibouti. PNS SHAMSHEER will INSHAALLAH reach Djibouti port on AM 07 April 2015.

Earlier, Pakistan Navy ship SHAMSHEER had reached Al Hodeida on AM 06 April 2015. Pakistan Navy remains fully committed to ensure safe evacuation of stranded Pakistani from Yemen. A group of 187 stranded Pakistani and Foreign Nationals was earlier evacuated from Al-Mukalla, Yemen by Pakistan Navy Ship ASLAT on 04 April 15. PNS ASLAT is scheduled to arrive Karachi around mid-day 7 Apr 15.
