Pakistan Museum of Natural History to celebrate International Earth Day on April 21

Islamabad, April 20, 2016 (PPI-OT):Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) is organizing a one-day training workshop titled “Gemmology and Modern techniques of lapidary and celebration of International Earth Day celebration” on 21st April 2016, at PMNH, Garden Avenue Shakarparian, Islamabad. Inaugural Session of the Workshop will be held at 9:00 am. Pakistan Science Foundation Chairman Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf will be the Chief Guest.

Experienced gemstone experts will share their professional experience with entrepreneurs, students regarding knowledge of gemstone, their type, value, identification, classification, gradation, cutting, polishing and pricing.The workshop would also shed light on the assessment criteria for various gemstones and outline a general pricing strategy for different marketing conditions. The speakers will also focus on the importance of Earth Day Celebration to raise awareness on environmental challenges threatening our mother earth.
