Pakistan is ready for peace and war

Karachi, November 02, 2016 (PPI-OT): Addressing gathering at FPCCI auditorium on seminar arranged by Brig Rashid Ali Malik President Standing Committee on Anti Terrorism and Special security Senior Vice President FPCCI Khalid Tawab appreciated the efforts of chairman in organizing seminar on the current India Pakistan situation.

While talking about military issues he highlighted the internal and external threats faced by the country and ongoing confrontation between the government and opposition and hoped good sense shall prevail and people of Pakistan shall not allow enemies of Pakistan to destabilize Pakistan and create rift between civil and military relations. He further emphasized that we have to maintain vigilance due to activities of RAW and we must identify facilitators.

Mr Khalid Tawab while deliberating on foreign relations suggested that we have to step up our efforts to get more support from international community and impress upon OIC to play more positive role confronting the Muslim world. India continues to violate our LoC and carries out unprovoked firing across working boundary resulting in death of innocent people and the atrocities committed by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir need to be highlighted by our foreign missions.

Our armed forces are retaliating in appropriate manner to silence the enemy guns and the nation is proud of our armed forces who are sacrificing their lives to eliminate the terrorists from the soil of Pakistan. Mr Tawab further added that Pakistan’s stand on Kashmir is known to the entire world and we only want UN to implement 1948 resolution in letter and spirit.

Mr Khalid Tawab criticized those who are trying to create wedge between civil and army and said they will never succeed as army and civil are on one page. Paying rich tributes to Gen Raheel Sharif he appreciated his role in eliminating terrorists from FATA and bringing peace in Karachi and further added that business community is happy over their achievements.

Mr. Khalid Tawab congratulated Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for meeting all defence requirements and needs of our armed forces and providing them with the state of the art equipment to counter any threat from any direction. The seminar was also attended by Chief Executive TDAP Mr. S M Muneer and members of FPCCI and people from business community. While concluding thanked Brig Rasheed Malik for his excellent presentation on the invitation of FPCCI.
