Pakistan hailed for its principled stance on Kashmir

Srinagar, August 23, 2015 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Dukhtaran-e-Millat and the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL) have hailed Pakistan for not succumbing to unjustified Indian pressure and said that Pakistan should continue its principled stance on Kashmir dispute. The Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned the arrest of Shabbir Ahmad Shah and said that such childish acts could not stop the real representatives of Kashmir consulting Pakistan leadership.

She said that India was actually not ready to shun its arrogance and settle Kashmir. “India is very arrogant and has never been ready to accept the realities, on one side, it is showing readiness for talks and, on the other, is running away on flimsy grounds” she said. Aasiya Andrabi said that India wanted to deceive the world community by entering into talks with Pakistan. She said how India can justify its objection to the Pakistan’s invitation to the Kashmiri leadership.

Condemning the arrest of Shabbir Ahmad Shah, while he was on his way to Pakistan High Commission in Delhi to meet Sartaj Aziz, Aasiya Andrabi said that the biggest democracy had made fun of itself before the whole world. Hurriyet leader, Zafar Akbar Butt at a meeting in Srinagar, welcomed the Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and blamed India for backing out of the dialogue process.

The JKPFL General Secretary, Muhammad Ramzan Khan in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir were not the third but fundamental party in the Kashmir dispute and any dialogue process excluding the participation of Kashmiris would not yield positive results. He said that actually India was not serious in settlement of the Kashmir dispute and was adopting different tactics to kill the time.
