Lahore, April 12, 2015 (PPI-OT): “Nothing can stop PFF to develop football in Pakistan” this is said by Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat at a historic moment in the football history of Pakistan when PFF has announced to hold 1st PAKISTAN WOMEN FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2015, in August. He further reiterated that PFF has left no stone unturned to introduce and develop women football in Pakistan and it will continue its rigorous efforts in this regard.
Senator Mrs. Rubina Irfan Chairperson Women Committee PFF at this occasion said that PFF has never ignored the progress and development of women football in Pakistan and launching of Pakistan Women Football League is a true example of that.
Earlier a very important meeting of PFF Women Committee was held here at PFF Secretariat Lahore chaired by Senator Mrs. Rubina Irfan chairperson PFF Women Committee which was participated by Qibtia Jamshed Women Administrator PFF, Miss Sadia Sheikh member Congress PFF and member women committee PFF and Madam Tasawar Aziz member PFF women committee in which crucial decisions were made as mentioned below,
– 1st Pakistan Women Football League will be held in August 2015 in which 8 Quarter Finalist teams of 10th National Women Championship will participate including Balochistan United Women FC, WAPDA women FC, Army Women FC, Young Rising Star women FC, Punjab Women FC, HEC Women FC, Diya
Women FC and Islamabad Football Association Women FC.
– PFF Registration and transfer policy regarding the women football players was overviewed and different NOC related issues were brought under discussion. It was decided that the clubs will submit their constitution and players contracts to PFF.
The meeting was opened by Lt. Col. Retd. Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi General Secretary PFF also attended by Wing. CDR. Retd. Pervaiz Saeed Mir Director Dev. and Comp. PFF.
