Islamabad: Foreign Secretary, Salman Bashir led the Pakistan delegation for the 8th Round of Pakistan-Republic of Korea Policy Consultations in Seoul today. The South Korean side was headed by First vice Minister Park Suk-hwan.
Both sides reviewed status of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional and international situation.
It was agreed to further strengthen and enhance comprehensive cooperation particularly in the areas of trade, finance, banking, investment, energy, science and technology and culture. Both sides also expressed satisfaction on their cooperation at the United Nations and other international forums.
Pakistan and Republic of Korea enjoy friendly and cooperative ties.
