Islamabad: Ambassador of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia, H.E. Muhammad Naeem Khan called on the Saudi Minister of Justice Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdul Kareem Al-Issa in his office today and discussed matters of mutual interest, says a press release received from Jeddah here today.
The Minister warmly received the Ambassador of Pakistan and said that Saudi Arabia has special relations with Pakistan which were beyond mundane and materialistic considerations. The Minister said that Pakistan was very dear and close to Saudi Arabia and its prosperity and stability was very dear to the Saudi leadership. He said that Pak-Saudi relations were of strategic nature and it was the endeavour of the Saudi leadership to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
During the meeting the Ambassador discussed with the Minister, matters relating to the welfare of Pakistani community, including compensation cases, early release of those Pakistanis who have completed their prison sentences, cases of Pakistani community in the labour court and information about those Pakistanis who were involved in different cases, and requested the Minister for the expedition and resolution of these issues.
The Ambassador said that there was more than 1.6million Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia contributing for the economic development of the Kingdom and they were feeling very happy and contented in the Kingdom.
The Minister appreciated the contributions of the Pakistani community towards the socio-economic developments of Saudi Arabia and assured the Ambassador that he will resolve all those problems faced by the Pakistani community in the kingdom.
