Pak-Swiss Training Centre celebrates Golden Jubilee

Karachi, December 29, 2015 (PPI-OT): Established in the year 1965 with Swiss Cooperation, Pak-Swiss Training Centre (PSTC) this year is celebrating its Golden Jubilee. The Institution is country’s one of the best vocational training centre, which has so far produced thousands of especially skilled professionals, all of them who now are successfully working or managing their own businesses in Pakistan and abroad.

Speaking at the occasion, Swiss Consul General in Karachi – Mr. Emil Wyss shared that vocational education is the secret of success for strong Swiss economy. While cherishing the strong friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, the Consul General said that Switzerland is offering scholarships to young Pakistanis and it is committed to further share its expertise in the field of education.

While congratulating PSTC Management, Faculty, Students, and Alumni, Federal Minister of Science and Technology – Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain said that education is the key to Pakistan’s sustainable development and the present government is committed to provide more and equal chances to all Pakistanis to acquire basic and vocational training.
