Pak-India cricket match claims one life in Kashmir

Srinagar, January 07, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, 50-year-old Kashmiri died of heart attack after India defeated Pakistan in the third ODI cricket match in New Delhi on Sunday evening. The man identified as Abdul Aziz Lone, of Khwajapora, Nowshera, complained of severe chest pain immediately after the match came to an end at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. Aziz was rushed to the nearby Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar, where doctors declared him dead, reports daily Sringar based Reader.

On the other hand, body of boy was recovered from Boulevard in Srinagar city while body of a 35-year-old unidentified woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Bemina in the city. Meanwhile, residents of Mendhar and adjoining areas held strong protest demonstration against police and the local administration along with the dead body of middle aged woman. The people also blocked Jammu-Mendhar road and disrupted the movement of traffic for about an hour.
