Pak Ambassador To Saudi Arabia Presents A Cheque In Flood Relief Fund

Islamabad: Mr. Muhammad Naeem Khan, ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at Prime Minister’s House this morning and presented a cheque of Rs. 27 million in Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.

It may be mentioned here that amount for Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund had been donated by the Pakistani expatriates working in Saudi Arabia.

The Prime Minister appreciated Pakistani community working in Saudi Arabia for their contributions for the country by sending more than dollars two billion back home and also for their hard work for the uplift of the economy of the Kingdome.

On the recommendations of the ambassador the Prime Minister directed Ministry of Interior to provide additional facility on urgent basis to the embassy meant for providing machine readable passports to the Pakistanis both in Riadh and Jeddah.

The ambassador apprised the Prime Minister about Hajj arrangement which were quite satisfactory this year. The train facility was also a great convenience for the pilgrims this year, said the ambassador.
