Outgoing Thai Ambassador Pays Farewell Call on Prime Minister

Islamabad: H.E. Mr. Marut jipatima , outgoing Ambassador of Thailand, paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM,s House here today.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of the Ambassador in bringing the two countries closer and especially enhancing trade , commerce and cultural ties.

The Prime Minister said that he was looking forward to meet the Thai Prime Minister during his visit to Davos later this month where Thai Premier was coming to attend World Economic Forum.

The Prime Minister said that people of Pakistan and the government were looking forward to welcome princess HH Maja von Hohenzollern when she would arrive the country at the invitation of President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari.

The Prime Minister called upon the need of high level exchanges of security officials, businessmen and cultural representatives to accord further impetus to the cooperation already existing in these sectors.

The Ambassador during his meeting, extended his deep sense of gratitude to Pakistan and the people of the country for their cooperation during his stay in Pakistan..

The Ambassador extended an invitation to the Prime Minister on behalf of his government to visit Thailand at a convenient date.
