Outgoing Ambassador of Nepal pays a farewell call on Prime Minister

Islamabad: H.E. Mr. Bala Bahadur kunwar, outgoing Ambassador of Nepal paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and thanked the Government of Pakistan for hospitality extended to him during his stay in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of the Ambassador for strengthening relations between the two countries hoping that he would continue to do so while working back home.

The Prime Minister said that Nepal was an important member of SAARC and its role in the Organization was commendable. He expected that Nepal’s contribution in SAARC would be more effective in the days to come. The SAARC would not be able to realise its full potential till the normalization of relations among member states, the Prime Minister observed.

The Prime Minister asked the Ambassador to convey his best wishes to the President and Prime Minister of Nepal.
