Islamabad, March 27, 2017 (PPI-OT): District and Session Judge Islamabad has nominated five (05) judges for accelerated disposal of CDA related court cases. District and Session Judge Islamabad has nominated these five (05) judges for accelerated disposal of CDA related court cases on request of Member Administration Capital Development Authority Muhammad Yasir Peerzada. Member Administration Capital Development Authority Muhammad Yasir Peerzada has said that CDA had been at disadvantage due to prolonged litigation in courts. Capital Development Authority is thankful to District and Session Judge Islamabad for nominating five (05) judges to help brisk winding up CDA related litigation. Nomination of five judges for speedy disposal of CDA related cases is a very positive step.
The office of District and session Judge (West), Islamabad has issued an office order conveyed that pursuant to the application moved by Capital Development Authority, Islamabad for affective management and expeditious disposal of the cases, it is ordered that hence forth all the cases filed by or against CDA shall be interested to, tried and disposed of by five Judicial officers in the public interest. The designated Judicial officers include Mr. Ahtisham Alam Khan, Civil Judge, 1st Class (West), Mr. Shahzad Khan, Civil Judge, 1st Class (West), Miss Sanam Bukhari, Civil Judge, 1st Class (West), Mr. Muhammad Naveed Khan, Civil Judge, 1st Class (West) and Miss Aysha Shabir Civil Judge, 1st Class Judge (West).
According to this office order the order shall not affect the cases already pending adjudication in different courts of District and Session Division West, Islamabad, Similarly these order exclude the cases in which CDA is proforma defendant. The copies of the subject office order have been forwarded to worthy Registrar, Honourable, Islamabad High Court, the concerned Judicial officers, the President Islamabad Bar Association and Chairman, CDA Islamabad for information and implementation.
