Peshawar, December 28, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance, Eng. Muhammad Humayun Khan has said that there would be no compromise on quality of materials and developmental works as huge spending were being made on it from public exchequer which is hard earned money of public accumulated from their taxes as well as a sacred trust.
He expressed these views during the inspection of construction work of BHU and pavement of streets at Pir Khel, District Malakand, the other day.
The minister also called upon the people to keep a vigilant eye on the quality of developmental schemes to ensure the quality work of schemes of public interest in all respect.
He also clarified to the concerned contractors and members of construction committees that they would be dealt-with an iron hand in case of low-quality construction work.
Later on, the Finance Minister visited the residence of Fazle Wadan, an official of DCO Office Malakand at Makhband and offered Fateha for the departed soul of his mother. He also expressed condolence on the death of Salim Khan, ex-Naib Nazim, Thana Bandajat at Null Thana and prayed that Allah Almighty may rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the members of the bereaved families to bear the losses with fortitude.
