Islamabad, November 15, 2016 (PPI-OT): A National level Employees Conference of NCHD employee was held today in Islamabad in which the Head Office Staff, the Director Operations of the Four Provinces, AJK, GB and FATA participated. The conference was held to resolve the years old grievances of the employees which rose due to unresolved anomalies of the employees in the wake of Regularization. The Cabinet subcommittee in the year 2013 regularized the employees of NCHD but the senior Management of NCHD working on contract and lucrative packages proved an impediment in the implementation of the subcommittee decision to safeguard their vested interests.
The conference was chaired by Chairperson Ex Senator Razina Alam Khan a 73 year old who herself is an illegal appointee to the chair as per directives of the Cabinet Division which reiterates that the age of chairperson/chairman may not exceed 65 years. The chair was assisted by DG Dr. Tashfeen Khan who one by one listened to the grievances of the employees and nodded affirmative to the demands of the employees.
The employees resolved that NCHD be declared as attached department of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, the huge cuts to the salaries of the employees after regularization be compensated, the salaries of employees be paid timely through AGPR, the pension and other benefits entitled to the employees may be given as per Government rules and the Directors and consultants on contracts be immediately terminated as they have been appointed to the posts without following the Codal formalities and are a huge burden on National Exchequer.
The employees also emphasized on the implementation of the Honourable Islamabad High Court Order for implementation of regularization as per Cabinet Sub Committee decision. Moreover, the employees requested the Chairperson to surrender her services due to age bracket and other anomalies which have been created because of her being unaware of the governmental rules and regulations.
