Srinagar, March 25, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmiri leader, Sajjad Ghani Lone has said that pro-India National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party have mortgaged the dignity and political rights of the Kashmiris.
A spokesman for the Kashmiri leader in a statement in Srinagar said that addressing a party meeting in Srinagar Sajjad Ghani Lone maintained that no Kashmiri was safe under the rule of either of these “traditional and draconian parties” that have been co-authors of murder and suppression in Kashmir.
He said that the National Conference couldn’t raise a mark of hesitation at Delhi’s politically-motivated decision to hang Muhammad Afzal Guru.
Omar Abdullah chose not to upset Delhi and rather chose to hurt the dignity and sentiments of Kashmiris as has been the chronic trait of National Conference right from its unfortunate birth, he added.
Lashing out at PDP, Sajjad Lone said that Mufti Saeed had chosen to enact the ridiculous drama of boycotting the so-called Legislative Assembly to escape the precarious position neither submitting nor supporting any resolutions on Afzal Guru.
