Karachi: Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan on Monday said Pakistani nation does not want confrontation with any country but it is united for the defence, sovereignty and stability of Pakistan and is capable to respond to any type of aggression.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of Gunnery Staff Course of the Pakistan Army, who called on him at Governor House here on Monday, said a statement.
They also offered fateha for those troops who embraced martyrdom in the NATO forces’ attack on a check post in Mohmand Agency tribal areas in Pakistan.
The Sindh Governor also replied to various questions of the participants of Gunnery Staff Course of the Pakistan Army pertaining to law and order in Sindh and other important issues.
He said Pakistan is facing different challenges due to the role it played in the war against terrorism. International community, particularly, the developed countries should help Pakistan to cope with obtaining challenges confronting Pakistan, he added.
