Karachi, July 28, 2017 (PPI-OT):Sindh Information, Labour, Transport and Mass Transit Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the PPP and government of Sindh is committed to welfare of the masses, for which the development of coastal belt in Thatta would be carried out to ameliorate the living standard of coastal belt area people seriously. This he said while addressing the free General Medical Camp hold at Pir Darya Abad near Bhambhore (Thatta) here organized by the Sahil Welfare Trust.
Sindh Information and Labour Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah appreciated the educational, health, fisheries related activities and various initiatives by the trust on self help basis locally. He offered his personally and governmental support for establishing the Basic Health Unit in the area of coastal belt for which one resident of Yahya Katiar was also appreciated who donated 2 acre land for the Basic Health Unit provide basic health facilities to the area people by the trust.
He also appreciated the volunteer force setup by the Sahil Welfare Trust, has said that such youths will be imported basic training and a technical centre would also be established to train them to provide best jobs in the area in various projects launched by the foreign companies with the support of local industrialists.
The Minister assured that fishermen of the coastal area would provide relief to end the double fees of the fishing in sea etc. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asif Ali Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and MNA Faryal Talpur Sahiba, under PPP manifesto to develop the coastal belt in this regard Zardari Bridge and Coastal Highway road would be again reconstructed development work would be started very soon.
He announced Rs.1 lac grant to Press Club Dhabeji, Ex Minister and Chairman District Council Sujawal Haji Muhammad Usman Malkani, President Sahil Welfare Trust Dr. Afzal Arain also spoke and apprised the area problems/grievances and activities of the Trust in various field since 2005 including Naval Cheek Post with the help of Naval authorities within 3 months, volunteer Force, Free Medical Camps in the area and 250 patients were treated in the free current Medical Camp.
On the occasion Sardar Ahmed Jam, Mian Haji, Farooq Palejo, Dr. Mohammad Yaqoob, Assistant Commissioner Ubaidullah Pahour, Malak Mohammad Ramzan, Haji Aftab, Chaudhry Ismail and other were also present.
