Naqash asks UN to broker Kashmir settlement

Srinagar, April 16, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash while stressing the Kashmir solution in accordance with relevant resolutions of the United Nations has said that the global body was formed to maintain peace in the world through settlement of disputes.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement urged the UN to abide by its responsibilities over the Kashmir dispute as the lingering issue was dangerous for the world peace.

Naqash castigated India for gross violation of human rights in Kashmir and said that it could never succeed in suppressing the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people.

He demanded immediate release of Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan. He paid glowing tributes to the martyr, S Hameed and all other martyrs of Kashmir.
