Srinagar, May 03, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Awami Ittehad Party Chief, and member of so-called Kashmir Assembly, Engineer Abdur Rasheed has said that the sacrifices offered by Kashmiri people will not go waste and India will have to come to the table of negotiations for settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
Engineer Rasheed while talking to people during his visit to the families of martyrs, Bilal Ahmad Butt, and Naseer Ahmad at Karimabad in Pulwama asked India to learn a lesson from the love the Kashmir people have in their hearts for militants (Mujahideen).
“One may differ with those holding arms in their hands but their desire and goal to resolve Kashmir issue forces every Kashmiri cutting across political lines to salute their sacrifices,” he added according to a statement issued by his party in Srinagar. He condoled with the families of Bilal and Naseer, who were martyred during an encounter with Indian Army in Pulwama, a few days ago.
Engineer Rasheed said that calling militants as “terrorists” or foreign proxies would not absolve India of sins it was committing in the territory. “Every Indian ruler including Narendra Modi is responsible for the killings, as they have been misleading people of India over the real mass uprisings in Kashmir.” He assured the people that he would stand by them against all odds while fighting the Indian state oppression.
