Karachi, August 04, 2016 (PPI-OT): Provincial Minister for Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Syed Sardar Ali Shah has paid surprise visit of Pakistan Institute of tourism and Hotel Management (PITHM). He visited different sections of the institute, including kitchen, food center, ongoing classes and met with staff and students. He also checked muster roll and directed to issue show cause notice to all absent employee who avail leave without any intimation.
Later on he visited National Museum of Pakistan and reviews the ongoing construction of Cultural Village in premises of National Museum. He directed the contractor to complete the work as soon as possible and no compromise will be acceptable over quality of work.
Moreover, Incharge National Museum of Pakistan M. Shah Bukhari gave briefing to Provincial Minister regarding the performance and issues of museum. He also visited the different galleries of museum.
Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah directed the Incharge of Museum to ensure 100% attendance of staff and punctuality.
Syed Sardar Ali Shah ordered to maintain the “Lawn” of museum on priority basis because it makes museum more beautiful and attract visitors.
He was accompanied with Secretary Culture Shazia Rizvi, Director General Culture Akhtar Inayat and Director PITHM Niaz Ali Malkani and other officials.
