Met Office predicts more rains with snowfall in country from Wednesday to Friday

Islamabad, January 15, 2013 (PPI-OT): Met Office predicted more rains with snowfall over the hills in parts of the country from Wednesday to Friday.

Spokesman of Met Office informed that another weather system is likely to grip most parts of Pakistan on Wednesday and expected to last till Friday evening/night. Under the influence of this weather system, scattered rains are expected in Islamabad, KP, Punjab, North Baluchistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the period while widespread rain/showers may occur over upper Punjab (Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal divisions) and Kashmir on Thursday and Friday.

Snowfall is also expected over the hills of Murree, Galliyat, Malakand, Hazara divisions Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Isolated rain is also expected along Sindh-Makran coast on Tuesday/Wednesday.
